Frequently Asked Questions

Sheds are built as portable storage solutions and are not intended as living spaces. Many customers do convert them, but extra attention would need to be paid by a licensed contractor to modify the building in order to satisfy residential building codes. That said, the basic buildings we provide are a good starting point and offer a cost advantage compared to building a residential living space from scratch. ​

We do not provide this as a service but, you can speak to a general contractor and check your local regulations to see if this is an option for your building.

If you believe you are experiencing an issue with your building that is covered by the Old Hickory warranty, you can file a claim on their website here: https://oldhickorybuildings.com/warranty-info-claims/. The Old Hickory warranty department will review it and get back to you as soon as possible.
